How do you know if its ready to play in the big game?
Golden delicious apples change from green to yellow when ripe; red delicious will turn entirely red. Push on it lightly to ensure it is soft but not mushy.

How do you prepare it?
Remove the stem. Typically before cooking, apples’ seeds are removed either from cutting slices away from the core, or removing the core before stuffing.
