Double Up Food Bucks Updates During COVID-19
During this time of COVID-19, Double Up is here for families with Bridge Cards (EBT) to double their food dollars for more healthy food. Getting started is easy, just visit a participating market and double your dollars for more fruits and veggies.
See below for the latest including how we’re updating the program to best support families at this time, Double Up market updates, and links to additional community food resources. We’ll be updating this page regularly.
Update: March 24
In response to COVID-19 many locations are getting rid of the $20/day limit. This means you can get even more healthy food using Double Up when you buy fruits and veggies with your Bridge Card. Be sure to check with your nearest participating site the next time you shop to get the Double Up match at that location. Visit our Locations page to find a participating site near you. We encourage shoppers to visit cdc.gov/Coronavirus for ways to stay safe before and after their next shopping trip. Please note that Family Fare, VG’s, and ValuLand stores have increased the limit to $50/day
Farmers Market Update
Farmers markets that participate in Double Up are taking precautions to keep shoppers safe. Find the latest updates on farmers markets and their daily operations. Please note, seasonal markets that normally open in May or June continue to monitor the situation and may delay their opening day.
Community Resources Update
As communities continue to respond to COVID-19, there are resources available to help families get the healthy food they need in addition to Double Up. Find the latest updates on what’s available near you.
